Trashing Holmes County

Action at Mount Rumpke one of the highest points in southwest Ohio
The Commissioners are negotiating with a non local company that will make Holmes County a center for trash haulers instead of tourists.  They plan to lease the county landfill to the Rumpke Corporation that will reopen and expand the operation and dump up to 15 times the amount of trash Holmes County generates.  The trash will come from all over the state and from out of state.  They will force all trash haulers to dump in the county landfill at twice the going rate causing individual rates to rise - in essence a back door tax.
